I'm Listening: Pro Wrestler Jaxon Stone on the Importance of a Solid Support Structure

'You don't have to be suffering to deserve love, help, and support'

September 16, 2020

In the lead up to this year's I'm Listening special on Wednesday, September 23, we’re giving you a preview of some of our favorite RADIO.COM conversations with artists and celebs on the topic of mental health.

Mental Health activist and pro wrestler Jaxon "Lights, Camera, Jaxon!" Stone joins us before the I'm Listening broadcast to discuss the importance of having a solid support structure in your life, with trusted family and friends ready and willing to offer their help when needed.

"You don't have to be in lots of pain, you don't have to be suffering to deserve love, help, and support. We're as human beings so complex, especially right now, that all the time we deserve love, support, and help.

"We don't have to reach our breaking point, or our crisis point to then want to reach out. If we as friends and family, and loved ones can always be there for each other and check on each other then we can feel like we have that love and support all the time."

RADIO.COM's I’m Listening broadcast returns on Wednesday, September 23. During the special 2-hour event, we’ll once again join forces with artists, athletes, and individuals nationwide to showcase that talk has the power to save lives.

In the meantime we've shared some moments from past I'm Listening shows here and at ImListening.org, with previous guests Mike ShinodaLogicDisturbedHalseyMetallicaKornPearl Jam and many others, all opening up honestly about mental health.

We also invite you to share your story about your own journey with mental health. We will select some to be a part of this year's show.
