One of summer’s famed traditions will have to wait another year as Phish has postponed their tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Due to the ongoing pandemic, we sadly have made the difficult decision to reschedule Phish’s entire 2020 summer tour, now moving to the summer of 2021,” the band wrote on their website.

Phish was scheduled to perform 27 shows across the country this summer. With the exception of the Atlanta shows, all dates have been rescheduled and will be listed below. The previously scheduled August 1 and 2 shows in Atlanta will have new dates announced soon.

“We’ve been as excited as ever to play music for you all, and are so heartbroken to postpone these dates. The health and well-being of Phish fans, our touring crew, and the communities in which the band plays is our top concern,” they said.

All tickets and travel packages purchased for the previous dates will be honored on the rescheduled dates. Fans wishing to seek a refund will have until May 31st to do and will be contacted by the ticketing platform they purchased from. If you purchased tickets from Ticketmaster, you can read about their refund policy here.

Phish recently released their fifteenth studio album Sigma Oasis on April 1st debuting the record during a livestream listening part on their YouTube and Facebook page.

The album was their first since 2016’s Big Boat and was finished just a week before they released it.

“We went to the studio last November up at the barn, Trey’s barn, and had so much fun just playing songs for about a week up there,” keyboardist Page McConnell said at the time. “We’ve been working on it steadily ever since.”
