Linkin Park is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album Hybrid Theory with a livestream featuring previously unseen concert footage.

The group posted a teaser video filled with scene flashes from their 2002 Projekt Revolution tour closer, recorded in Las Vegas. Not much else is revealed, other than former frontman Chester Bennington’s voice screaming with white hot intensity.

Fans can expect to hear tracks from Hybrid Theory, some classic tracks, a cover of Deftones’ “My Own Summer,” and special guest performances.

Band members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn Dave "Phoenix" Farrell and Rob Bourdon will also host a Q&A session. It’s the group’s first joint interview since Bennington’s death back in 2017.

You can watch the world premiere streaming event Friday, October 9 at 12PM ET. A second showing will streaming 12 hours after the premiere. Fans can get digital tickets at watch.linkinpark.com.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to Crew Nation and the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), helping music industry workers recover financially from the COVID-19 pandemic work stoppage.

Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory: 20th Anniversary Edition drops October 9 and features the iconic album in full. Also included are previously unheard demos, rarities, B-sides, DVDs, over 95 minutes of never-before-seen footage, and other extras.

The digital event is all part of Linkin Park’s yearlong celebration of musical legacy and remembering former lead singer Chester Bennington, nearly three years after his death. “I think 'Pictureboard' was the first thing I heard Chester’s voice on,” guitarist Brad Delson recently shared in a group interview with Matt Pinfield, according to Metal Hammer.

“I remember getting that, and being like, ‘Hey, what do you think of this guy? He just sent us this recording…’ and being like, not crying with joy, but like, almost crying, just like, Wow! I don’t even know what that is. He‘s tiny and vulnerable on the verse and you could hear all these timbres and harmonics, like overtones, in his voice on the heavy part. It just blew my hat off my head, and we’re like, ‘We gotta meet this guy!’”
